The Georgian Minister of Defense was hosted by the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State for Defense of the State of Qatar.

During his visit to the State of Qatar, Georgian Vice Prime Minister and Minister of Defense Irakli Chikovani held a meeting with Qatar’s Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State for Defense, Sheikh Saud bin Abdulrahman Al Thani. Irakli Chikovani thanked his Qatari counterpart for his support of Georgia’s sovereignty and territorial integrity.

The ministers emphasized the importance of bilateral relations and expressed hope that the positive momentum in the development of relations between Georgia and Qatar will continue to deepen in the future.
