Global Public Diplomacy Network - GPDNet 10th General Assembly

On February 25, 2025, the Charge d’Affaires of Georgia to the State of Qatar, Teimuraz Kereselidze, attended the opening ceremony of the Global Public Diplomacy Network - GPDNet 10th General Assembly.

Delegations from 20 countries participated the Assembly. Georgia was represented by the Head of the Department for Access to Culture of the Ministry of Culture, Aleksandre Grigalashvili, and the representative of the Ministry of Culture, Irine Saganelidze.

Global Public Diplomacy Network was founded in 2014 in Seoul by initiative of Korea Foundation. The main aim of GPDN is to promote the cooperation of international community through the cultural and social initiatives, as well as through sharing the knowledge. The Network is actively working in development of cultural and public diplomacy and organizes many international events in this regard.

The 10th General Assembly of the Global Public Diplomacy Network focused on the growing challenges faced by the world today, underscoring the heightened importance of public diplomacy. The opportunities for organizing international cultural events in 2025-2026 were discussed.
