On 30 January 2026, the Minister for Foreign Affairs, Maka Botchorishvili met with Ahmad Hassen Al-Hammadi, Secretary General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the State of Qatar, as part of the fourth round of bilateral political consultations.

During the meeting, the parties discussed the bilateral cooperation agenda and explored opportunities to deepen trade and economic relations between the two countries.

Both sides expressed their readiness to further intensify cooperation and emphasized the importance of exchanging high-level visits.
