On March 14, 2024, Teimuraz Kereselidze, the Chargé d'Affaires of Georgia in Qatar, and David Absandze, the First Secretary of the Embassy, organized a meeting with Georgian students currently studying in Qatar. As part of the ongoing collaboration between the Embassy of Georgia and Qatar University, and with the financial support of the Qatar Foundation, 11 Georgian students are enrolled at Qatar University and several American universities in Qatar, including Georgetown University, Carnegie Mellon University, and Texas A&M University.

During the Meeting, Chargé d'Affaires of Georgia in the State of Qatar Teimuraz Kereselidze, and First Secretary of the Embassy David Absandze discussed with the Georgian students bilateral relations between Georgia and the State of Qatar with particular emphasis on the field of education. Additionally, they highlighted the importance of applying the knowledge and skills acquired in Qatar to contribute to the development of Georgia.
